@Makron5 fire (heat energy) was one of our first forms of energy and we still use it today we just dont cut down trees to burn we use coal or gas, oil, and uranium.( they have more potential energy than wood)
@Makron5 we get energy from the sun using solar panels, as always tech will get better with time. there are many other ways of collecting energy from the sun but its whats cost effective that wins, business cant break even, even if it benifits all mankind.

Value of the energy produced yearly about $5400. I am looking for $300 000 for a prototype and for $3M for patents.

@GRATZIANI2002 Here is an article that goes into it. They quote an NIST value 1366 Watts/ meter squared. This will be reduced as you go further from the equator and will be reduced by reflection in the atmosphere. They claim a value of about 1000 W/meter sq at the equator – called the “standard sun” and this is the value used by Solar Companies. This guy here claims 60% efficiency which would give hims his 600 W/meter sq as a comparative power output. (solar.smps.us/solar-energy)
@tjsbbi u think or u know is 1.4 KW/m x m?..because for this value i suppose the earth surface would be 180 Celsius, we will not discussing now..not even at 30 km high…many guys are thinking that wind or solar means free any power forever..at parallel 45 the solar power full insun 12 o’clock is around 85 w / m x m, I’ll come back w/ full data..
@GRATZIANI2002 While I’m not endorsing this guy’s product (I’ve not seen it working), I believe that the solar energy flux density on earth is approx 1.4 KW / Meter squared. He is claiming 60% efficiency so I guess that’s where he gets the 600 watts. I don’t know where you got the value of 100 watts / Meter squared.

we COULD make giant satellites that gather huge amounts of sunlight and then convert it into energy, and then the energy will be sent to earth. no more gas, no more oil, and no more FOSSIL FUELS. I also suggest that we put giant windmills or we can put hXc (hardcore) kids windmilling in very windy places and get more energy. However this plan could cost billions of dollars to switch from our current energies and those hXc kids aren’t gonna windmill and roundhouse for free.

Some questions are,
1. The LCD screen Fresnel Lens is designed to operate indoors away from strong UV light. How long will it last in direct sunlight before yellowing due to the effects of UV ?
2. How much water is required to produce 1kWhr of electrical energy for a given sunlight strength.?
@fred73plus Not only that but it has to be sunny out- at least solar panels work when it’s cloudy. Even if he’s NOT bullshitting you you’d need about 3 of these systems to actually run a home reliably, not to mention the extra batteries. And that’s if you’re conservative with your energy.
I would be more interested in just running them when it’s sunny, using it’s power then, and selling the extra power back into the grid.
the problem with this type is that you need to move the lense all the time with a extra active system. … why not

Hook your hot tube up to the end of that beast and not only do you have free energy, but also get some nice use out of the left over water.
sorry but the only way that will work even remotely properly is if this is focused on the sun at all times and frankly its too large and would need energy to make it track the sun..if totally aligned then it would work excellent but that would be for about one minute a day..there are better ways to achieve this
